A friend of mine is a pro-brewer (and surely has the Nugget Nectar recipe in his portfolio, but I digress) and he once told me that the true test of a brewer's skill is a Helles. There is just no where to hide flaws in a beer like that. Come to think of it... we were drinking a Helles that he brewed at the time.
Hmmmm...I wonder what that brewery was but happy to focus on supporting RRBC. Great place, great mix of beers, just got a delivery from them the other week-cheers!
"I can never remember whether I prefer the extra strong or the extra soft" ...this is me every damn time. I sit there staring at the Charmin trying to figure out which one is more important and why?! Then I mentally flip a coin and hope I picked the right one before moseying out of Target or whatever. Luckily, even if I get it wrong, they are both sufficient for the task at hand.
